The rich source of potassium in the potato makes it useful for treating high blood pressure. In fact, in many countries a tea made from potato peelings is given as a treatment to patients suffering from this condition. Potatoes are also thought to be useful in treating stomach ulcers and arthritis. Potato juice needs mixing with other juices to make it palatable. Try adding carrots, lemon juice, garlic or parsley for extra flavor.
